Of course, there is no definitive answer. (Unless, you want to say the answer is 42)

However, I love the discussions, debates and memories that are brought on by recollections of those things that bind us as a geek community. A lot will come from movies, but not all...Carl Sagan, Dr David Attenborough and others have provided us with some find quotable quotes over the years...

Still for me, it is and always will be "The Princess Bride".

"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Yessss!!!!! I do the same thing. I also like Yoda's "Do or do not, there is no try." I can live my life by that quote. :)

My ultimate favourite has to be Moss from the IT Crowd:

Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them along with this slice of humble pie, that comes direct from the oven of shame, set at gas mark 'egg on your face'.

Ah, The IT Crowd...is that in the USA...such an awesome show.

"We want a shrubbery!" as stated by the Knights who say Ni from Monty Python and the Holy Grail

"These aren't the droids your looking for..." spoken by Obi Wan Kenobi from the film Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope

***And the one below is crazy if you think about when it was said, kudos to the man Steve Jobs even though I'm a PC.***

"The most compelling reason for most people to buy a computer for the home will be to link it into a nationwide communications network. We're just in the beginning stages of what will be a truly remarkable breakthrough for most people--as remarkable as the telephone." from a Playboy Interview with Steve Jobs in 1985.

One I've been repeating to myself recently, especially as I'm using a touchscreen more frequently.

"A keyboard? How quaint."

seen on twitter: "you auto-complete me". Sorry, made me giggle.
I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit....It's the only way to be sure.

"Lasers... Day One!"

"All your base are belong to us!" - from Zero Wing. :-)

All time favorite:

"There are 10 kinds of people in the world; Those that understand binary, and those that don’t."

or maybe

"A seminar on time travel will be held in two weeks ago."

Staying on the Princess Bride theme, Inigo says to Vizzini, "You keep  using that word.  I do not think it means what you think it means."  And the ever useful Miracle Max with "Have fun stormin' the castle."

A classic of a movie and a gold mine of usable quotes.

I've got a bad feeling about this.  Han Solo in Multiple movies
