“Yes, I should have expected you would be here, Davros. Too bad for you your precious Daleks are not here to save you...Destroying you will be one of the greatest pleasures of my life.”
With a sense of deep satisfaction, River pressed the buttons on the control box. A swirl of light and color surrounded the shell of a man seated in the chair...and then disappeared.
“You fool. Did you honestly think you could harm me? I did a scan of everyone myself when you brought me here. You have no weapons that can penetrate my shield. Your primitive scanner failed to even detect the gun I gave to that brooding Silent, and your transporter is just as ineffective. I chose to remain here, just so I could watch you destroy yourselves. Thank you all for the entertainment. And now, if you will excuse me, I have an old enemy to kill.”
“You’re right, of course,” River said. “I have no weapons that are a match for the great and powerful Davros...well, except for maybe this.”
River reached into her bag and slowly withdrew a long metal cylinder. Smiling broadly, she aimed the device at The Doctor’s oldest enemy and flipped the switch.
“Have you lost all reason, human? You think to threaten me with a torch?!”
“Oh, no. I just think you make a wonderful shadow puppet. Actually, you make two wonderful shadow puppets.”
Davros looked over his shoulder and saw two distinct shadows creeping up the library wall.
“What have you done to me? I can’t see. Who turned out the lights?”
“What have you done to me? I can’t see. Who turned out the lights?”
“What have you done to me? I can’t see. Who turned out the lights?”
Day 3 has ended with Davros (Russell Collins) Anti-Town Godfather, removed from the library. Night has fallen once again in The Library. If you have a night ability, use it or lose it. Day 4 will begin Wednesday, June 20, 10:30p MDT (GMT-6:00), approx. 48 hours from now.

Permalink Reply by Randy Slavey on June 19, 2012 at 10:15am Confirming that, yes, Chris did indeed vote for Russel first. I missed it on the post.

Permalink Reply by Randy Slavey on June 21, 2012 at 12:28am River sighed heavily. “And so, Mickey’s sacrifice was for naught. Whatever information Martha might have gleaned during the night has died with her.”
As for the other member of the group lost that evening, the pain and guilt was still too raw for her to talk about. River feared that no matter what the final result was here in the Library, her decision to bring her own mother here would haunt her for the rest of her days, which, given the current state of events, might be a pain she would not have to suffer long.
Night 3 has ended with Martha Jones (Bob Sandlan), Town-Aligned Investigator, ripped to pieces and Amy Pond (Chris Earnest), Town-Aligned Lover, vanished in the night. Day 4 has begun and will end Wednesday, June 27, 10:30p MDT (GMT-6:00). With 4 players remaining, it takes 2 votes to convict (no, this is not a typo).

Permalink Reply by Daniel Donahoo on June 21, 2012 at 10:08pm Well...seems I need to find myself an ally now...silence works a treat for staying around in this game...the talkers all get it :)
So - T Kelly. What you thinking?
Permalink Reply by T Kelly on June 22, 2012 at 11:45am Ouch, that was one rough night after such a big win for us getting rid of Davros/Russell. Things are definitely getting interesting.
As for what I'm thinking now - we have to ask the obvious question - Daniel - why did you sit the Russell vote out?
I know a lot of the role powers might be passive or might be taking place during night phases so we may not see them play out through our posts - but we are getting down to the wire here - so if anyone has any edge that might be able to swing things pro-Town, now might be a good time to whip it out
Permalink Reply by Gene Davis on June 22, 2012 at 8:08pm OK so reading up quickly on Lovers, it seems that they are attached to another character so that if the one character goes, the other one does as well. So I guess we can presume that because Bob's character died, Chris' did also, explaining the multiple deaths.
With only two votes needed to lynch, a lynch could happen quickly. But we must be more careful than ever. Therefore I highly suggest we avoid any hasty decisions! Let's analyze the facts and choose carefully.
Since Bob was an Investigator we can assume he knew some things even if he didn't let on too obviously. So we should analyze his words closely.
Permalink Reply by Gene Davis on June 22, 2012 at 8:12pm Continuing on that thought, if we look at Bob's "gut", the one he was most unsure of that is still left is Daniel.
Also, Daniel, as T Kelly pointed out, you "hid" most of the last turn.
