I love movies. I spent half of my teenage years working in video stores and watching film after film after film. I also love games. So I thought it would be fun to combine the two. Here's how this will work: I post a recognizable still from a movie that most people will know - except the still has been altered with some filters. The first person to identify the movie correctly gets to post the next image. Sound fun?

Edit: Here's Randy Slavey's ongoing history of the game, with all of the images used to date.

We'll start with an easy one:

Nope. However, if you wanted Raymond Babbitt to be a clue...well, it probably wouldn't be too hard to hook something up.

Yeah--Raymond Babbitt clue would be good--Yeah---that way we can watch Judge Wapner---Yeah

However, if you wanted Raymond Babbitt to be a clue...well, it probably wouldn't be too hard to hook something up.

The man who played Raymond Babbitt also played the role of a famous captain. His nemesis played a captain as well in this movie.

That makes it easy...Hook....my son checked that movie out of the library this week.

:)

Nope. Hook was the clue. This picture is from the movie where Hook's nemesis also played a "captain".

Well, Hook's nemesis was Robin Williams, and the only thing I can think of that he played something akin to a captain in was Night at the Museum?

You got the Robin Williams part right. Not Night At The Museum. Notice that "Captain" is in quotes.

OK, looking at all of the clues, and rechecking the picture....all is clear...

Carpe Diem

;)

Got it!

New one

Ouch! That just hurts to look at let alone guess. Lord of the Rings, maybe?

I know what we're going to do today!
