Forum Games: Movies

I love movies. I spent half of my teenage years working in video stores and watching film after film after film. I also love games. So I thought it would be fun to combine the two. Here's how this will work: I post a recognizable still from a movie that most people will know - except the still has been altered with some filters. The first person to identify the movie correctly gets to post the next image. Sound fun?

Clue #2: This animated movie also featured another piece of round glass. In this pic, the protagonist is seen through the glass with her family. She is also seen in the other piece of glass as well, but magically, by a very old friend of her family.

My first thought was Secret of NIMH, but I haven't seen it in so long, I have absolutely no idea.

That's hilarious. I haven't seen it since I was a kid but a couple months ago I started feeling nostalgia for it and wanted to see it again. After I made my guess, I found it on Amazon Prime streaming video. Its now on my watchlist. I'll post the next picture later today.

I see the Kraken from the original Clash of the Titans rising out of the water...or maybe the approach to the Southern Oracle from The Never Ending Story.

neither one. This was actually the 1st movie I ever saw in a theatre, when I was 10 years old.

Perhaps a clue is in order:

This is the first of a trilogy and was released in 1993

The 2nd was released in 1997

and the 3rd was released in 2001
