What is Mafia? Sometimes called Werewolf, it's a fun party game of accusations and conspiracy. If you haven't had the pleasure of playing this charmingly devious game at a convention or on another web forum, there's a fun Flash animation here to help you understand the rules.
I'll be moderating a Game of Thrones-themed Mafia game here on the GeekDad Community. If you're interested in joining in, all you have to do is sign up below.
Some rules to read before you sign up:

Actually, Chris, it looks like Dave Banks is going to step down to give you a chance to play. So I'll send your role message in just a sec.

Chapter 1: Ned
Ned Stark sat on the Iron Throne, wanting nothing more than to be miles away from King's Landing, back at Winterfell. The tapestries hanging in the throne room, depicting idyllic hunting scenes, seemed to mock the king's death. Ned, like most here today, knew that there was something more to the hunting accident, and he meant to find out who was responsible.
Everyone was calling for blood. A scapegoat to blame for Robert's death. He had gathered them together in the throne room to determine who was responsible. That person would be executed. By his own hands, for his was the old way. Ned's hands went to his sword, Ice, strapped to his belt.
It would be a very long day...
Day 1 commences! With 12 alive, it takes 7 votes to execute someone! Begin your speculation! The deadline is next Saturday at 9pm ET.
(One last thing... can the scum please respond in the thread I set up for you? The link is in your role PM.)
I am not afraid to be the first one to post. *I* have nothing to hide!
Anyone fancy some Ale?
Day Ones are always so tough. There's so little evidence, and so much blame to go around. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Chris doth protest too much.
vote: Chris Earnest
Just to get things started, you know.
