What is Mafia? Sometimes called Werewolf, it's a fun party game of accusations and conspiracy. If you haven't had the pleasure of playing this charmingly devious game at a convention or on another web forum, there's a fun Flash animation here to help you understand the rules.
I'll be moderating a Game of Thrones-themed Mafia game here on the GeekDad Community. If you're interested in joining in, all you have to do is sign up below.

Permalink Reply by Gene Davis on April 27, 2012 at 2:26pm I voted for you simply because you were so quick to jump on me, as if you were looking for a quick reason to point a finger at someone else. But no question it was a decent line of thinking. With more information I expect I will unvote you and vote for someone else.

Permalink Reply by Nathan Barry on April 27, 2012 at 3:07pm Well at least this game is staying true to the body count of its source material! Chris, Chris and Bob - I feel like we barely knew you. May your bones be laid to rest with those of your forefathers, and your souls spirited away to be with the gods.
I honour of our slain brothers, I shall continue to seek out the scum who took their lives before their time, and with that in mind I will heed Chris E.'s dying words and:
VOTE: SPENCER DYLAN
Permalink Reply by Chris Lee on April 27, 2012 at 4:46pm Not really, I think it does make sense. Based on tips given, strats, etc, it seems you're the most experienced player. If you are scum then you know who are town.
If you saw Chris E with 2 votes, and you know that he's town, it could be easy to say "welp guys it's better than nothing" and explain about random lynch vs. no lynch d1, etc, as opposed to voting somebody else.
Permalink Reply by Randy Slavey on April 27, 2012 at 4:56pm Just a suggestion. Since Michael has requested we don't use the threaded replies, and so many people are posting comments addressing a specific person, I recommend using the blockquote or addressing the person by name to whom you are speaking. e.g.:

Two of the three scenarios I outlined as reasons for your quick attack on Ian and quick defense of Gene necessitated you having more information than the rest. The third worked if you were scum. Based on this defense, I have no reason to believe you have any more information than anyone else. So, until someone proves me wrong:
Vote: Chris Lee
Permalink Reply by Kevin Clem on April 27, 2012 at 8:04pm I am nothing less than confused... But I feel dirt for my vote, which helped to kill Renly. Therefore I also will respect his last words!
