OK, so a bit of set up:

Everyone knows bacon goes with everything.

Bacon is primarily a breakfast food.

Breakfast foods usually have some sauce/topping/accessory that makes it even better. For example: bagel and cream cheese, cereal and milk, peanut butter and syrup on your waffles, dip your sausage in the extra syrup, etc.

Is there a preferred/favorite accessory/sauce that you love to eat with your bacon?

HP brown sauce is the one really. No further discussion needed.

I've never heard of HP sauce, but wikipedia makes me think its kinda like A1. Would that be a fair comparison? Is it even available in the states?

Reading about A1 it does seem like HP. In the UK the choice is between HP and Daddies sauce, the latter perhaps being the more appropriate for this forum at least. In my opinion HP has the better tang to accompany bacon and a great sharpness that cuts through the bacon grease.

I expect it would be available in British ex-pat stores if nowhere else, but I expect only larger cities are going to have those. Well worth a try though. Excellent with sausages too. An excellent bacon and HP breakfast is accompanied by a French toasted crumpet with chilli flakes. Washed down with a mug of tea.

Just the grease it comes in!  :)

However, I have noticed the new fad is Bacon Sundaes...yep ice cream with bacon on top.  Not sure about that one.

Did you see the GeekDad post over a year ago in the series "The Great Bacon Odyssey" where Matt Blum made his own bacon ice cream? I've been wanting to try it. I love the interplay between salty and sweet in snacks.

I enjoy dipping bacon in syrup, but it just doesn't have the same impact as sausage and syrup.

I've never been a fan of bacon with sweet things to be honest. I'd be willing to try it again should the opportunity arise.

My wife actually likes to add bacon with cereal and milk; that is just a bit much for me.  I say, give me my bacon plain, really.  I prefer it in its naturally awesome state.  Good stuff.

:)

That being said, It doesn't ruin it for me to get the pancake syrup on it as I down that down home country breakfast.

(Darn, now I'm hungry for bacon)

Thanks a lot, Dave (winks)
