So, it was 25 years ago....yesterday that one of the greatest love stories ever told (remember, "death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while.) was released in US cinemas.
As Dave Banks noted in email correspondance, "we missed it? Inconcievable."
But, that doesn't mean we should let it pass by.
I suggest a quote-a-thon. Give us your best, worst and favorite quotes from this most quotable movie.
May I begin:
"Stop rhyming now, I mean it."
"Anybody want a peanut?"

(we might as well just copy/paste the entire script in here!)

"You rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles."

"Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line."

Permalink Reply by Dave Banks on September 27, 2012 at 9:32am We watched the movie, as a family, on Tuesday night. I think I was grinning from the beginning with Fred Savage playing Hardball to the final "As you wish". Hell, I'm grinning now. Such a great film, it's darn near perfect.
Oh yes, quote: Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

"Do you think it'll work?"
"It'll take a miracle"
OR
"You were supposed to be this colossus, you were this great legendary thing, and yet he gains!"
"Well, I'm carrying three people and he got only himself."
"I do not accept excuses! I'm just going to have to find myself a new giant, that's all."
