As a geek, and recent geek dad, I've greatly pondered where I want to end up, things that I wish to do. And while I am leaving a certain legacy with a geekling of my own, there are a few other dreams that I've always kind of hoped for. Some are as simple as attending a music festival like Bonnaroo or SXSW. Then you have the big dreams, like wanting to be popular/famous enough to be invited to a con (any con really) as a guest. I'm not talking a big name, headlining guest, but maybe to host a panel or two, or to run/host an event. Of course my biggest dream is to be a voice actor.
So, what are you geeky dreams? What are the stars that you aspire to reach in the cosmos of our great community?

I guess I have all kinds of little mini-dreams. Things like learning better programming and getting out a game lots of people enjoy, or success with my blog and web show. I think that the ultimate dream, though, would be to come up with that one simple, geeky entrepreneurial idea that would afford me enough funds to allow me to spend more time with my family and let me pursue all those smaller ones.
I guess that the other geeky dream that both you and I would share as parents, would be to see our kids have the opportunity to pursue their geeky dreams too some day.
Have fun being a dad; it is truly the best job in the world. I know I consider myself very lucky.
