Backyard chickens need a place to live. The mission was to give our 8 young ladies a safe place to sleep and lay their eggs, while making it attractive enough to garner GeekMom's approval. The kids helped with everything, from measuring to nailing, and painting everything in sight!

First of all, very cool project. Are your posts attached to the blocks at all? Or just sitting on them? I assume that you used two on the fence side because your ground slopes, right?Any complaints…Continue
