General Project Information

I have reviewed the source code for the original project and found that it is great but I am planning on doing things a little different. With that in mind, I am starting from scratch on the source code. The code is Open Source under the GPL 3.0 license and is being hosted on GitHub.

  • Use of hall effect sensors for shelf travel limit sensors
  • Use of an NES controller rather than building my own joystick system

Is some of this overkill? Sure. Will some of it be fun? Definitely.
