I'm a big fan of Halloween. I think out of all the Holidays it has the most hacking potential. I am creating a series of articles for GeekDad about Halloween Projects and will be linking them here for discussion.

Dave,
I'm right there with you on a love for Holloween and it's hacking potential. Last year hurricane Irene dropped a tree on our house, so during the remodeling we turned the ENTIRE house into a haunted house. Because we lost a lot due to damage, I couldn't "make" stuff for the house, but were able to put together some fun and it was a good distraction for us. Normally we get about 20 trick-or-treaters on Halloween, but since one of the Washington DC news channels did a segment on the house, we had close to three hundred. It was a lot of fun. In typing this I realized that we hacked our house for Holloween.
