I had a chance to catch this one last weekend with my boys, and I would have to say that I really did enjoy it.It was a nice clean movie, nothing I would be embarrassed to show to my kids. I loved…Continue

Gary Forster said… Hi Troy, I ran a YMCA Camp in IN for 6 years (and met my wife, the camp nurse!), then we moved to CT to run a beautiful Y camp in the Berkshires were we raised our two sons in true Geek Dad fashion. Now I consult with camps all across the country to help them improve their enrollment and impact. The Geek Dad activities are great to do at camps. You've got a great Y camp in KS, Camp Wood.
DawneNYC said… Hello Troy,
Thanks for the welcome! I just posted some photos, and yes I admit it - I am a girl (I hope other members will not hold it against me). I joined GeekDads, because I want to participate in tech discussions and activites about educating and protecting kids, without having to see ads for pampers and female products, which is what is featured on these sites for women. I am used to working with teams of IT techs, and have no patience for "where is the start button" or "oh, it wasn't plugged in?" types of posts. So here is where I have landed and hope to make thoughtful, significant and even funny contributions to the conversation. My other info is on: @DawneNYC on twitter, http://www.facebook.com/DawneNYC?ref=tn_tnmn, and http://www.linkedin.com/in/dawnenyc.
