What Edition Wars?

Just completed a home office after the oldest moved out. This is the centerpiece - and it ain't what it used to be, but she's still got it where it counts. Or something.

No, I'm not old enough for the 1st Edition AD&D books to be mine ... quite yet, anyway. They were my older…

Time to hang up the sword, Link

I’m kicking myself for not thinking of this one earlier, but baby + video games might be a problem. This morning, I was speaking to a friend of mine with a 15-month old son, and asked how much gaming he has gotten in since the birth. “Um… I played Mario Galaxy for about fifteen minutes once.”

Drop in D&D

It's been pretty hard to keep a gaming table going steadily with everyone's family, work, and vacation schedules. This last Saturday, I finally made it to a D&D Meetup at Game Empire. You get to spend a few hours at home character crunching, show up for a Saturday and play a 3 - 4 hour adventure (or three). How sweet is that? I feel like I now finally have a permanent fix for my D&D… Continue

Anyone else going to BoardGameGeek.con later this month?

BoardGameGeek (aka BGG) is running a con here in Dallas the weekend of (19-Nov through 22-Nov).

I'll be there, and the sprout will be there visiting a bit (he's not quite old enough to join in on the fun, but it's only a matter of time ;)!
