We warned you we were going to do this! ;)
Everyone send congrats to Oliver, whose blog post about using Minecraft mods with his homeschooled son was so neat, we felt it needed to be shared on GeekDad.com:

Comment by Oliver Gingrich on March 16, 2012 at 11:46pm Evan, I have a feeling that things like Minecraft mods are going to be areas where the Geekdad community can really help others out who are still figuring it out. There's a definite methodology, and sometimes trial and error is the only way to get things working. Minecraft with kids is a blast - just watching what their brains come up with is as rewarding to me as actually playing sometimes. I like installing a new mod, like the Lasermod, just to watch what kind of huge robots they will build. The only danger is that they'll never be satisfied! My son keeps finding new ones for me to install!
