Sunday, June 17th was our first ever National Geek Dad Day. Over 180,000 people in 50 states and 22 countries took our challenge to turn Father's Day into a GeekDad Day extravaganza. And, boy, did you and your families rise to the challenge! Judging by the tweets, images and general activity we saw fly by on the web a fun day was had for many. 

We've rounded up a bunch of the media over on the main GeekDad blog, but we also wanted to exclusively highlight the Instagram images we asked you to tag with #GeekDadDay.

From homemade rockets to special drawings for Dad to quality time with the family, each image was a unique view into the many GeekDad Days happening all over the world. Thank you all for sharing such a special time with us here at WIRED and the GeekDad community.
